I believe Flavio Sala to be the greatest classical guitarist of this generation. And, he’s still young. I think he’ll join Andres Segovia and John Williams as the best of all-time.

Two years ago, I was working on a slideshow that included photos of ordinary Venezuelan citizens, so I began searching for some latin-sounding guitar as accompaniment. That is when I stumbled across Flavio’s work. I was able to connect with him via e-mail, and he gladly gave permission for his work to be included in the slideshow.
